Today will be my last day at Hotwire, the company I joined a little over 5 years (and what seems like a lifetime) ago in March 2008 as a receptionist. Well that fresh-faced chap has certainly grown up (well, at least a little bit) and have decided that it’s time for me to take on a new challenge, with a new agency.
In my time at Hotwire I’ve had the privilege of working for and with some incredible people, and this post would fast become a thesis if I was to mention all of them. So just to name a two, a special thanks has to go to the founder, Kristin and Anthony, for setting up Hotwire and making it the fantastic agency it is today and for giving me a chance to be part of it.
It’s certainly been an eventful few years: I’ve lived, I’ve learned, I’ve partied, I’ve lost a little hair (just look at the pictures, below), but I’ve also gained a wife! So although I’m moving on, I’m leaving with a passion for PR and the sector that has been instilled in me by the great people I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with. As well as having made some incredible friends that I will actually keep in touch with (even though one of the ran off to New York to get away from me!).
To the company and people that gave me a chance, I bid farewell, but I’m very excited to be starting my new role with Diffusion come Monday morning.
