After a forecast of nothing but rain and possible storms all day, we made the decision to visit the National Trust sites around Cotehele, a very interesting Tudor house with accompanying water mill, quay and surrounding gardens. Due to the almost constant rainfall, pictures were a pain in the backside, so I only managed a couple. The HUGE cider press and a sculpture in the orchard that left me with a sneaky smile with its simple beauty, we’re all I managed. But the gardens and mill were really lovely, if only it wasn’t for the darned rain! Oh well, next time!
