This got me thinking about how I explain PR to people. I’m sure it’s a common issue, but I feel for me it is doubly so…see, I’m a ‘receptionist/admin assistant’ at the moment. I want to move into the PR side of the agency I’m with, but that will just take time.
When friends and family ask what I do, I say I’m in PR, but then have to stop myself and re-phrase that “I want to get into PR, but at the moment I’m just an admin assistant at a PR agency.”
Does this make me an ‘ass-flack’?
